5 1/2 minutes about the global community's greatest challenges, the future of engineering and and the Bsc programme, which focuses on both.
In the Western world we will in the next decades experience major changes. Global challenges in the areas of energy, economy, infrastructure, environment, health and food will have profound effect on our society - both nationally and internationally.
The issues are very complex, and vast amounts of information and data must be analyzed to understand, plan and prioritize possible solutions.
Thus there is a need for engineers with specialized knowledge of technology, economics and management, whose core competence is to handle complex issues.
Strategisk Analyse og Systemdesign is a programme created at DTU in 2014 to meet this need.
After making a good start with a full uptake and strong commitment among the students, DTU assembled teachers and students for the making of a short film describing student life, job opportunities and a lot of other things.
