Michael Hauschild honoured with EDANA LCA life time achievement award

Michael Hauschild , head of the Quantitative Sustainability Assessments division has received a great honour from the academic society in Society for Environmental Toxicology and Chemstry (SETAC). Michael Hauschild has been honoured with the EDANA LCA life time achievement award. 

He was granted the award in recognition of Michael’s 25-year body of work in the field of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

 

In his acceptance speech Mr Hauschild also gave special thanks to DTU and Management Engineering:

 

“It is a great honour for me to receive this award and join a selection of highly esteemed scientists from the field of Life Cycle Assessment.” 

 

“I owe gratitude to my university, the Technical University of Denmark, and to the department of Management Engineering for their prioritization of our science and continued support over 20 years.”’
