Welcome to ROUTE2026

ROUTE 2026 aims to provide a forum for scientific exchange and cooperation in the fields of vehicle routing, intermodal transportation and related areas. Participation is by invitation only. Previous editions of the workshop were hosted in 2000, 2003, 2009 and 2014 by the Technical University of Denmark, in 2005 by the University of Bologna, in 2007 by the Georgia Institute of Technology, in 2011 by the Technical University of Barcelona, the University of Valencia and the University of Brescia, in 2016 by Paris 13 University, and in 2018 by the Technical University of Denmark. The last meeting was in 2022, hosted in Vienna at University of Vienna /Karl Dörner.

Time and Place

ROUTE 2026 will take place from Sunday May 31 to Wednesday June 3, 2026 at Frederiksdal Conference Center, Kongens Lyngby, Denmark. Frederiksdal Conference Center is located in the middle of nature near Furesø lake less than 20 km north of Copenhagen and 5 km away from the Technical University of Denmark. Frederiksdal Conference Center also offers delicious breakfast and other facilities.

Format

As before, to keep the workshop rather informal and to encourage discussion and collaboration, there will be a limit of around 50 participants and 28-30 presentations organized in a single stream.


Travel Guide

Regarding getting from the airport to the workshop site: You can get from Copenhagen airport to Frederiksdal by taking the metro to Nørreport station and switching to the s-train to get to Lyngby station. From Lyngby you can take bus 182 to Frederiksdal (Frederiksdalsvej), where you can walk to the Conference Center.
