On November 6, the seminar “Diversity in Technology: Knowledge and stories from the ecosystem” will take place at Carlsberg Academy in Copenhagen.
The seminar will present the results of a three-year Semper Ardens Accelerate research project on diversity work within tech entrepreneurship and education,  anchored at DTU Management with Associate Professor Lærke Højgaard Christiansen as PI, and share concrete tools for creating real change in practice.
Diversity Requires Responsibility. Not Assumptions.
How do we make diversity a real part of our practice, not just an ambition?
A central insight from the project is the importance of taking responsibility for change: Organizations do not become socially diverse on their own. It requires ownership, structures, and the willingness to rethink how we work, connect, and make decisions.
The day will include:
- Research presentations by Associate Professor Lærke Højgaard Christiansen, DTU Management & Assistant Professor Thomas Burø, DTU Engineering Technology
- Welcome address by Camilla Rygaard-Hjalsted, Dean of Sustainability, Diversity, Inclusion, and Talent Development, DTU
- Live interview with Sam Eshrati, COO and Chief Engagement Officer at TechBBQ
- Artistic performance by actor Laura Allen Müller
- Co-creation of a new toolkit for diversity work
